189/365

189: Damned.

Maybe, as I have been scouring the dictionary for all the dirty words.

188/365

188: My go-to bad word.

Damn is mine. I confess.

With all the bad words there are, though, I could use worse.

187/365

187: Revisited. The computer pieces.

I turned three into rings.

The white background really did make it look better.

186: Altered Dictionary Magnet

I was a smidge disappointed to find that "hellfire" was missing from my dictionary. When I made this one, I had plans for a set.

Oh, well. I have more dictionaries to scour.

I just love this color.

184: Altered Playing Card

Vintage magazine picture, text from book.

183: Word Art, kinda.

We are a wacky family. This is one thing we often do. Make pictures out of refrigerator magnets.

happy Thanksgiving!

182: Louis Daguerre is honored in today's Google Doodle.

This reminds me of this post on Craftster, from a monster swap.

How fun.

And perfect for Halloween. Which, despite being almost Thanksgiving, is still on my mind. I blame the snow and that Halloween was cancelled for us. I did not get to do all the Halloween things I wanted, so I will likely have a few projects over the next year that involve Halloween.

So I decided on Cthulhu. Or Ood, if you are a Dr Who fan. But I tried to emulate the traditional colors of the daguerreotype.

181: Altered Playing Card

I have been collecting playing cards at the recycling center. I started finding loose ones, mostly incomplete.

This deck is a NY Yankees deck. Total number of cards? 41.

My original thought was use them as a for ATCs. (Artist Trading Cards.) Sadly, they are a smidge smaller than the ATCs are supposed to be. Like inchies, etc. they have standard measurements. ATCs are 2.5" x 3.5."

Anywhooo...

And now is crunch time. Holiday. For the 365 Project.

37 days until Christmas.

And, I have 49 days until I complete the first year of the 365 Project. I already failed at the make something new every day, to completion. I have completed many projects in this more creative year. And it has been a more creative year. I think next will be even better.

I finally have my workspace. I have even created a schedule.

So that leaves my goal; 365 projects. 49 days to complete 184 projects. Can I do it?

Almost all of my current projects are presents, so I do not wish to put them online as, chances are, the recipients are watching.

So this may really be a creative endeavor.

So, please. Pray for me. Send me good thoughts. Cast a magic spell. Hope for a Christmas miracle?

I would sincerely like to make this goal.

180: Magazine paper coils

I have done these before, but usually I just use pictures. This time I used text.

An article from a travel magazine.

I like the way it came out. This article also had a map in it.

179: Halloween Monster, Painting with Suzy

And now Sarah!

Lots of stuff going on for all of us, so we have been dragging out this theme for about 3 weeks.

I ended up painting Medusa. Although not a Halloween monster, she definitely is scary.
(Note: she is brown, not orange. I was going for earth tones, not Jersey Shore.)

178: Uncorked

Remember those 1,654,187,415 wine corks I collected?

I cut one of them and made two rings, of course.

One is stained from the wine, and has a faint scent.

177: Appropriate for the White Halloween

It was too cold to be creative. During the power outage I did one sketch.
